Jimmy Clausen Punched in the Face

Jimmy Clausen has now suffered a second indignity that fellow former phenom Ron Powlus didn’t in South Bend. First Clausen loses twice to Navy and now a report that Clausen was “sucker punched” by an “irate” fan after Saturday’s soul crushing loss to UConn. Clausen was reportedly out with his friends and family when the incident occurred.Â
This incident raised a question that I have been wrestling with since Clausen’s over the top signing day press conference 4 years ago. How hasn’t this happened sooner?
