Prince Impressed By Purple And Gold Blouses
A big Vikings fan, or the biggest Vikings fan?
The Vikings are playing for the NFC Championship this weekend, a fact that hasn’t eluded the Minnesota’s reclusive rocker, Prince. Inspired by watching the Vikings win over the Cowboys last week, the song is called “Purple and Gold” and he played a clip of it in the news last night. One lyric is “The veil of the sky draws open, the roar of the chariots touch down.” so at least we know he isn’t taking it too seriously or anything. The self important sincerity of this thing might make it the funniest thing in sports today.
